We take you to the bucket list destinations most people only dream about, and we do it surrounded by a community of like-minded women who show up with the same sense of wonder you do. OceanZen creates small-group adventure expeditions for women who want to experience the world properly. Not just see it. Experience it.
Founded by Environmental Marine Scientist Steph Gabriel over a decade ago, OceanZen takes women to bucket list destinations across Australia and beyond: Ningaloo Reef, Antarctica, Uluru, the Galápagos Islands and many more amazing destinations.
Every expedition is deeply immersive and designed to be the kind of experience you measure the rest of your life against, built around the goal: giving each woman the most unforgettable experience of her life in the most ethical way.

OceanZen is deeply passionate about ocean conservation, wildlife and sustainability. With Steph's background in environmental marine science, every expedition is designed to a standard that genuinely respects the natural world while creating life-changing moments for the women who show up for them.
Our trips aren't tours. They're expeditions, built around raw, wild, once-in-a-lifetime encounters with the natural world. Think swimming with humpback whales in Tonga, snorkelling with whale sharks in Ningaloo, standing at the edge of Antarctica, and diving in with sea lions in the Galápagos. And so many more extraordinary destinations in between.
Every OceanZen expedition is designed to create the kind of connection with nature that turns travellers into protectors and ambassadors. When you are eye to eye with a whale and feel her see straight through to your soul, how can you not want to do everything in your power to protect her?

There is something that happens when you put a group of like-minded women in one of the most extraordinary places on earth together. Strangers become friends somewhere between the first dive briefing and the last sunset.
While our destinations are bucket list and life changing, our community is a huge part of why these women keep coming back to each other as much as they come back for the destinations. OceanZen is for women who are ready to stop watching other people's adventures and start living their own.
And because our community is everything, we are intentional about who joins it. Our women are kind, genuine, adventurous and wildly supportive of each other and this community, and genuinely just lovely humans to share a boat with.
We ask one thing of you: bring your positive energy. The expedition days are usually long and big, and the women who thrive on these expeditions are the ones who are all in. We don't focus on relaxed resort holiday styles. We are all about expeditions. If you love full days, thrive on adventure and bring a good attitude when things get spontaneous and itinerary plans need to change due to weather, you are going to absolutely love our expeditions. If you are looking for something slow and relaxing, we won't be a good match for you.
