It will range between 4-7  degree's - but you will be wearing a wetsuit to keep you warm. You can rent for the expedition from the ship for around $500 USD per person.
Their add on rental package  includes a high quality arctic freedive suit, thick neoprene socks, 3-finger mitts, mask, snorkel, fins, crocs.  Alternatively you can bring your own,  we would recommend a 7-9mm wetsuit.

International flight will be to Oslo Norway. You will then need a domestic to Tromso, Norway. Some guests take the route via Stockholm Sweden for their international leg and then direct from Stockholm to Tromso.
We highly recommend all guests to arrive at least one day before trip starts to account for flight- and baggage delay as changing weather with snow and icy conditions does impact flights. 
You can book an  early departure flight on Day 7 (9th December) as we will spend the last night on the ship in port.

Orca's, Humpback Whales, Finn Whales, Minke Whales, Bearded Seals, Arctic Foxes, PUFFINS

We strongly encourage guests coming on this particular expedition to be confident swimmers and snorkelers. We will be in deep  water swimming with whales so a certain level of fitness and swimming experience is required. Sometimes sea's can be rough, big swells and chaotic, so for your best interest we encourage you to pick another one of our destinations to gain confidence in the water if you are not quite there yet :)

We can never guarentee wildlife encounters, however there is a very very high chance. Orca's swim in large pods of around 30-60 individuals, sometimes in the hundreds and they feed on Herring in this area. There is also a high chance to see humpback whales feeding on herring through large bait balls.
